This website provides a station-by-station guide to tourist attractions which can
be reached by train. I hope it will encourage you to make greater use of public transport
for leisure travel.
Each attraction is described briefly with approximate opening times, a telephone number to confirm details and wherever possible a link to the attraction's website. The pages are designed to be useful when printed out so that you can take a copy with you when travelling. For further details please see the introduction page.
If you know which attraction you wish to visit please go to the attraction index. There is a special page for National Trust properties and for some of these there is an information sheet to download with extra details. You may prefer to use the station index to look for stations with a direct train service from your local station.
