The Lodge (the RSPB's headquarters, not open to the public). The reserve is a good place to see
woodland and garden birds. Nature trails. Hide. Visitor Centre with information and refreshments.

For a quieter return route to the station you can leave the Reserve through a gate
at the south end and turn right along the bridleway leading to Stratford Road. It is 1½
miles from the gate to the station.
