Fowlmere Nature Reserve RSPB - 2 miles
A wildlife oasis of reedbeds, hawthorn scrub, open water, damp woodland and chalk grassland in an area of intensive farming. Birds include kingfisher, water rail, warblers and corn buntings. Three hides and 1¾ mile nature trail. Picnic area. Tel. 01763 208978.
