The Vanguard Way LDP passes Berwick station and it is about 3 miles to Alfriston by this path.
Berwick Church (1¼ miles) is decorated with wall paintings by the Bloomsbury group
of artists associated with Charleston Farmhouse. From the train near
Berwick you can see 'The Long Man of Wilmington' on the South Downs.
