Royal Engineers Museum - 1¼ miles or by bus
The history of British military engineering in peace and war from 1066 to the present day.

The large 80 acre Historic Dockyard covers over 400 years of maritime history. The many attractions include
historic warships, lifeboats, a ¼ mile long ropery, museum of the royal dockyard and the 'Wooden Walls'
recreation of the 18th century dockyard. Restaurant, teashop and picnic areas.
