Ramsgate map A family seaside resort on cliffs with a sandy beach below and a busy harbour. The centre of the town has Georgian terraces and buildings. Ramsgate station is 1 mile from the town centre and coast, but 'Thanet Loop' buses operate from the station to Leopold Street and the Harbour every 10 minutes (½-hourly eve & Sun).
