Kew map The Thames Path National Trail (on both sides of the river) is ¾ mile from Kew Gardens station.

Royal Botanic Gardens - ¼ mile to Victoria Gate
Over 300 acres of trees, shrubs, flowers and many rare plants. Exotic glasshouses including the Princess of Wales Conservatory with ten climatic zones. Museums. Restaurant and tea chalet. Tel. 020 8332 5655.

Kew Palace (in Royal Botanic Gardens) - ¾ mile
Built in 1631, this is the smallest of the royal palaces. It was used by members of the royal family from 1728 until the death of Queen Charlotte in 1818. Tel. 0870 7515179. Kew Palace is in the Royal Botanic Gardens and cannot be visited separately.
Open*: Closed for restoration.
