The quiet walking route highlighted on the map avoids walking beside the busy A4 main road. Turn right out of the station, follow the footpath over the Underground line and right into Bassett Gardens, then left to continue along Bassett Gardens. At the end cross Jersey Road and bear right along the footpath at the edge of the field to The Avenue leading to Osterley Park. Beware that the footpath will be muddy in wet weather, but it can be avoided by walking along Jersey Road.
