The vast Richmond Park is about 1¼ miles uphill from the station, but bus 371 passes
the entrance (see Ham House below).

passes through Richmond on both sides of the river.

Ham House and Garden NT - 1¾ miles by Thames Path or by bus then ½ mile
A spectacular 17th century house with original interiors and formal garden. It was built in 1610, then
enlarged and redecorated in the 1670s when it was at the heart of Restoration court life. Orangery, still
house and dairy. Orangery café.
