A Broadland nature reserve with nature trails through the varied habitats which support a wide variety of wildlife. Visitor Centre. Picnic area. Tel. 01603 715191.

Note: The Reserve is 1 mile from Buckenham station but this has a very limited service.

Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum - 1¾ miles
A large collection including working steam engines and mechanical organs. 1930s fairground carousel. ¾-mile narrow gauge railway. Annual Steam Engine Rally (see website for dates). Rare breeds section. Picnic in the park. Tel. 01603 714535.
Open*: Jul-Sep Daily (also Easter-Jun WSuBH) 1030-1530. Engines in steam last Sun in month.
