Brundall and Buckenham map Please note that Buckenham has a very limited train service and trains stop by request only. From May 2007 extra trains will stop by request on Sundays.

Buckenham station is adjacent to Buckenham Marshes RSPB Reserve, this is open to the public but it has no visitor facilities.

Strumpshaw Fen Nature Reserve RSPB - 1 mile
A Broadland nature reserve with nature trails through the varied habitats which support a wide variety of wildlife. Visitor Centre. Picnic area. Tel. 01603 715191.
Open*: Daily, dawn-dusk.

Note: The Reserve is 1½ miles from Brundall station which has a better train service.

Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum - 1¼ miles
A large collection including working steam engines and mechanical organs. 1930s fairground carousel. ¾-mile narrow gauge railway. Annual Steam Engine Rally (see website for dates). Picnic in the park. Tel. 01603 714535.
