Buckenham station is adjacent to Buckenham Marshes RSPB Reserve, this is open to the public but it has no visitor facilities.
Strumpshaw Fen Nature Reserve RSPB - 1 mile
A Broadland nature reserve with nature trails through the varied habitats which support a wide variety of
wildlife. Visitor Centre. Picnic area.

Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum - 1¼ miles
A large collection including working steam engines and mechanical organs. 1930s fairground carousel.
¾-mile narrow gauge railway. Annual Steam Engine Rally (see website for dates). Picnic in the park.
