Hoveton and Wroxham

Norfolk     Hoveton and Wroxham is on the Bittern Line.

Hoveton and Wroxham map Wroxham is often described as the 'Capital of the Norfolk Broads'. The famous Roys Shopping Centre is claimed to be the world's largest village store. The Bure Valley Path follows the Bure Valley Railway to Aylsham.

Bure Valley Railway - Adjacent to Station
A 15" gauge railway mainly operated by steam locomotives. It runs for 9 miles through Coltishall, Buxton and Brampton to Aylsham. Restaurant at Aylsham. Tel. 01263 733858.

Hoveton Hall Gardens - 1½ miles
The gardens offer a mix of planting and styles. Water garden, lake, kitchen garden, woodland walks. Tearoom. Tel. 01603 782798.
Open*: Easter-mid Sep, WFSu & BH (also Th in May & June) 1030-1700.

Wroxham Barns - 1½ miles
A collection of restored 18th century barns housing traditional and contemporary craft workshops. Children's farm and funfair. Tearoom.
