Hoveton and Wroxham

Wroxham is often described as the 'Capital of the Norfolk Broads'. The famous Roys Shopping Centre is claimed to be the world's largest village store. The Bure Valley Path follows the Bure Valley Railway to Aylsham.

Bure Valley Railway - Adjacent to Station
A 15" gauge railway mainly operated by steam locomotives. It runs for 9 miles through Coltishall, Buxton and Brampton to Aylsham. Restaurant at Aylsham. Tel. 01263 733858.

Wroxham Barns - 1½ miles
A collection of restored 18th century barns housing traditional and contemporary craft workshops. Children's farm and funfair. Tearoom.

Blickling Hall, Garden & Park NT - by bus
One of England's great Jacobean houses. Spectacular long gallery, superb plasterwork ceilings, fine collections of furniture, pictures, books and tapestries. Colourful gardens, lake, woodland and lakeside walks. Restaurant and picnic areas. Tel. 01263 738030.
