Lakenheath Fen Nature Reserve RSPB - ¼ mile
A wetland nature reserve with reedbeds, grazing marsh and poplar woodland. Nature trail. Golden orioles breed in the poplar plantation which can be seen from the riverside footpath. Visitor Centre with information and toilets but no refreshments. Tel. 01842 863400.
Open*: Daily, Visitor Centre 1000-1600, Reserve dawn-dusk.
