Box Hill NT - by bus
Over 800 acres of woodland and chalk downland with impressive views as far as the South Downs. Nature walks. Information Centre and exhibition room at the summit. Refreshments. Tel. 01306 885502.
Open*: Information Centre Daily 1100-1700 (closes 1600 Nov-Mar or dusk if earlier).

Bus: 516 from The Crescent (½ mile from station) to Box Hill Information Centre, 23 minutes journey, M-S about every 2 hours. Some return journeys continue to the Rail Station Forecourt. Traveline tel. 0871 200 2233.
Buses also operate from Dorking and you can walk from Box Hill & Westhumble.
