A picturesque town on the River Arun with a steep High Street and dominated by its Castle and Cathedral.
The parkland around Swanbourne Lake is open daily free of charge, but closed each year on 24 March.
There is an impressive view of Arundel from trains south of Arundel station.
The Monarch's Way LDP passes through Arundel.

Arundel Castle - ½ mile
The ancestral home of the Dukes of Norfolk. An ancient castle which has been rebuilt and
altered through the centuries. Fine collections of furniture, armour, clocks, tapestries
and paintings. Restored Victorian kitchen and flower gardens. Restaurant.

Arundel Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre - 1¼ miles (or 2½ miles by river path)
The Centre is home to rare wildlife including endangered wildfowl from around the world.
The wetlands are also home to many wild species including kingfishers and water voles.
Features include observation hides, a reedbed boardwalk and boat tours around the wetlands.
